ColorCoat® EnvioFlex™, an ideal solution to deliver eye-catching building that stand against the weather condition in the tropical environment

The newly engineered HeatBounce™ solar reflectance solution in ColorCoat® EnvioFlex™ steel will reduce the surface temperature of the buildings while it maintains excellent gloss and colour retention. In preserving the aesthetic of the steel surface, EnvioFlex™ steel prevents tropical dirt from staining its surface and can be easily washed away by rainfall. With the combination of the superior corrosion inhibitive paint system coated onto ZINCCOAT™ steel substrate that is resilient to corrosion, EnvioFlex™ steel provides excellent protection for the metal roofing and cladding in the tropical climate.    

With the product warranty up to 25 years*, ColorCoat® EnvioFlex™ is made to outperform the stringent requirements in the building specification.

EnvioFlex  feature       

 

1)                  HeatBounce™ Solar Reflectance

EnvioFlex™ steel has now integrates the comprehensive HeatBounce™ Solar Reflectance solution to reflect the solar energy instead of absorbing the heat and thus lowering the building surface temperature and reduce the impact of urban heat island (UHI) effect.

a)      High SRI Values

With the integration of HeatBounce™ solar reflectance solution, darker coloured EnvioFlex™ steel absorb less heat, creating the advantages of a cooler building as compared to the conventional steel sheets. Higher SRI values can meet the requirement of green building rating tools such as Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI).

 

b)      Lower Energy Consumption

In hot weather, HeatBounce™ functions as the heat barrier to reduce the energy consumption for the air-conditioning to keep the buildings cool and comfortable. EnvioFlex™ steel reduces peak roof temperature by up to 8°c*, depending on the colour selection.

c)      Better material durability

By reducing the surface temperature, thermal tension in the steel sheet will be reduced thus enhancing the material durability.

 

2)          Good Colour Retention

EnvioFlex™ steel is formulated with enhanced colour & gloss retention properties that offer high performance in keeping your building looking newer for a longer time. The paint is developed with a unique combination of specially formulated hard and highly durable binder and high performance inert pigments, offering excellent weathering performance for colour and gloss retention.

EnvioFlex™ steel has been tested in the laboratory and all around the globe to ensure that they are capable of withstanding a wide range of extreme environment.

3)         Minimize Tropical Dirt Staining

EnvioFlex™ dirt resistant polyester system is designed to provide excellent clean surface properties. The main characteristic is its ability to resist dirt and particles from being bonded to the surface and thus maintain the roofing and cladding to be as clean as possible. EnvioFlex™ will also maintain the fresh and clean looks with little or no cleaning maintenance which will reduce cost and save money.
